  • Should I shower after an infrared sauna session?
It's recommended to gently cleanse the sweat from your skin's surface after a sauna session. During your session your body's natural cooling mechanism prompts significant sweat release, facilitating the elimination of heavy metals and toxins for a thorough detoxification. To prevent toxin re-absorption during cooldown, it's advisable to cleanse them from your skin's surface. Allow your body to cool naturally or take a refreshing shower. Additionally, indulging in a revitalising exfoliation ritual will leave your skin feeling luxuriously smooth.

Meticulously crafted without harmful chemicals. Utilising only water-based adhesives and raw, unsealed Canadian hemlock for the interior timber, we ensure a completely natural and healthy sauna experience.
  • What is near infrared heat?
Most standard infrared saunas lack near infrared heat, which differs from far infrared as it's visible to the human eye, with shorter wavelengths ranging from 0.7 to 3 microns, presenting as a red or orange glow similar to a campfire. Near infrared heat directly targets the body, penetrating up to 15 to 20 cm deep, reaching muscles, tissues, and organs. Our specially designed near infrared heaters maximise these benefits, enhancing our premium saunas beyond standard models. When near and far heat and light penetrate deep into tissues, they prompt metabolic healing effects. This stimulates the body to produce heat shock proteins, combating oxidative stress by neutralising free radicals and promoting antioxidant production.
  • What is far infrared heat?
Far infrared heat is the most prevalent and energy-efficient heating method provided by sauna companies. It is produced via carbon panel or ceramic heaters. Far infrared heat does not directly warm the body, but rather warms the sauna air. This produces a mild and comfortable warmth ideal for deep sweating and detoxification. It can also provide health benefits including improved circulation, pain relief, relaxation, enhanced immune function, and better sleep.
  • How much do your infrared saunas cost to run in electricity?
Our infrared saunas cost on average just 0.26c per hour to operate, making them a very affordable option.
